BEARSPACE is delighted to host 'Speed Is Open', an evening of contemporary video works curated by Rebecca Kressley.  'Speed is Open' represents a broad range of approaches to examining the fabrication of truth within the contained frame of video. A methodical production and reduction of form presents itself in the videos as a communicative device, encouraging the viewer to share in the inquisitive nature of the works. With fluctuations in tone and style, the work in 'Speed Is Open' engages the audience in the space between questions raised and questions answered, and encourages an admiration of the latent beauty therein.
