Gareth Hacon is a photographer based in North Norfolk, who studied graphic design and moved into photography with an interest in open and closed spaces.

 

 Gareth’s work is concerned with the passage of thought leading from the expanse of large open spaces, seemingly impossible to capture.  Using time and patience these take form through his photographs harmonising composition, light and land to create a final photograph conveying thought and evoking awe. 

 

Photographed around Norfolk these landscapes use photography to create a witness to the elements captured in Gareth’s work, that is both contemporary and traditional, whilst enigmatic in their subject .
